Privacy Policy

hey, it's Dajung. This page explains what info I collect when you use my stuff, why, and what you can do about it. I kept it as plain as I could.
Who I am
TC Social (@thecreative.social) is my solo creator business, run by me, Dajung Lim, in British Columbia, Canada.
This policy covers:
- tccm.tcsocial.co (my courses and free resources, hosted on Kajabi)
- stan.store/tcsocial (my shop, hosted on Stan)
- atelier.tcsocial.co (Atelier)
- my Instagram DMs (automated through ManyChat)

What I collect
What you give me
- Your first name and email, when you sign up for something free (like the Free Viral IG Blueprint at tccm.tcsocial.co/blueprint).
- Your name, email and order details, when you buy something on Kajabi or Stan. Payments go through their payment processors. I never see or store your full card number.
- Your Instagram username and the messages you send, when you DM me or comment a keyword that triggers a ManyChat reply.
- Anything you send when you email me.
What's collected automatically
When you visit my sites, these tools collect things like pages viewed, clicks, device and browser type, rough location (from your IP address), and where you came from:
- Google Analytics — site traffic stats.
- Microsoft Clarity — shows how people use a page, like clicks and scrolls.
- Meta Pixel — measures my Instagram/Facebook ads and lets me show ads to people who visited.
- PostHog — product analytics on Atelier.
Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Meta Pixel run on my Kajabi and Stan pages. PostHog runs on Atelier. Some of these tools may record how you use the page, like clicks and scrolls. They use cookies or similar tech.
Why I use it
- To send you what you signed up for or bought.
- To send you emails: tips, updates, and sometimes offers for my products.
- To answer your DMs and emails.
- To see what's working on my sites and ads so I can make them better.
- To keep things secure and follow the law (like tax records for purchases).
I don't sell your personal info. Ever.
Emails
My emails go out through Kajabi. When you sign up, you agree to get emails from me. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe anytime. You can also just email lena@tcsocial.co and I'll take you off.
I follow Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) and the US CAN-SPAM Act: I only email people who signed up or bought from me, I tell you who I am, I include my mailing address (below), and I honour unsubscribes within 10 business days (usually much faster).
Who I share it with
Only the services that help me run things. They handle your data on my behalf:
- Kajabi — website, forms, courses, email, checkout
- Stan — shop and checkout
- ManyChat and Meta/Instagram — DMs and ads
- Google, Microsoft and PostHog — analytics
- Secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal) through Kajabi and Stan
I may also share info if the law requires it.
Some of these services store data outside Canada, including in the US. That means it may be accessed under those countries' laws.
How long I keep it
- Email list info: while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, I keep a minimal record so I don't email you again.
- Purchase records: as long as tax law requires (in Canada, generally 6 years).
- DMs and emails: as long as they're useful for helping you, then I delete them.
- Analytics data: kept per each tool's settings.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask me to:
- show you the personal info I have about you
- fix anything that's wrong
- delete your info
- stop emailing you
If you're in the EU or UK (GDPR), you also have the right to object to or limit how I use your data, to get a copy in a portable format, and to complain to your local data protection authority. I rely on your consent for marketing emails and cookies where required, on contract to deliver things you buy, and on my legitimate interest to run and improve my business.
If you're in Canada, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in BC, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC (oipc.bc.ca).
To make a request, email lena@tcsocial.co. I'll reply within 30 days. I may ask you to confirm your identity first.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the sites may not work right without them.
Kids
My stuff is for adults. I don't knowingly collect info from anyone under 16. If you think a child signed up, email me and I'll delete it.
Purchases
All sales are final. See my Terms for the full purchase terms.
Security
I use trusted platforms and keep access locked down. No system is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your info.
Changes
If I update this policy, I'll change the date at the top. For big changes, I'll let my email list know.
